Pablo Fernandez-Alberti has more than 20 years of marketing-communications design experience. He founded a successful design and printing company in Uruguay, which later merged with another firm and opened offices in Buenos Aires, Brazil and Miami. Pablo created online and offline campaigns for several major media companies in Latin America, including Clarin Argentina, El Pais Uruguay and El Tiempo Colombia.
Hired by Miami’s Big City Radio as art director, he launched todoahora.com, one of the industry’s first bilingual portals. Recruited by Univision as its senior art director, he was responsible for the marketing, design and development of their online shopping channel. In 2001, its first full year of operation, Univision.com became the No. 1 Spanish-language website in the U.S., a position it still holds.
After founding Modent in 2003, Pablo’s young firm was tasked with developing the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau’s website, as well as its Web campaigns and online portals for Amazing Miami Attractions, Miami Spice, Shop on Miami Beach and others.
Most recently, Pablo has worked on online marketing, site development and social media campaigns for a number of clients, including Armani, TracFone Wireless, Doctor Diabetic Supply, Futbiz.com and the City of Bal Harbour.
